The law firm of Johnson & Walters P.A. was chartered October 1, 1979. The founders of the firm had worked together in the firm of Graham, Hodge, Larson & Hume, P.A., since January of 1977, in the areas of real estate and business law. The firm has since added estate planning, probate law, corporate collections, commercial litigation and construction lien law to their areas of practice.
The firm's primary areas of practice are real property law, including condominium and homeowner association law, estate planning and probate law and corporate, banking and business law. The firm emphasizes a preventative rather than a remedial practice. That is to say, the firm's primary objective is to advise the client as to procedures and techniques to avoid litigation. The firm is staffed and equipped to expeditiously and efficiently handle all types of real estate matters. The firm is a subscriber to the Attorneys' Title Information Data Services which provides instantaneous detailed and up to date title information for most counties in the State. The firm is an authorized agent of Attorneys' Title Insurance Fund, Inc., the largest title insurance company in the State of Florida, and Commonwealth Land Title Insurance Company.
